Private Sessions

Alexander lessons are like starting a process of kinesthetic self-discovery.
A heightened self-awareness sheds light on your subconscious habitual behavior and thus gives you the ability to change it if it no longer serves your well-being and purpose.

A course of lessons is an educational program tailored to each student's individual needs. It is a combination of hands-on work and verbal guidance through a range of familiar movements and specialized activities to explore your personal habitual movement patterns.

Through gentle touch and observation, I will help you to develop a better coordination of thought and movement, so your body's original poise can be restored.

Lessons are not about adding anything new, but to learn how to free your body and mind of excessive tension and counter-productive habits, so that a more natural state of being can emerge.

It does not require special equipment or exercises, but can be readily used anywhere for any activity. It is not a series of treatments or exercises.

The process in Alexander Lessons is a mutual educational experience rather than the usual patient-practitioner relationship. A class or lesson is a kind of research laboratory where you will find new ways to recognize and change habits of misuse.

You will leave your first lesson with a new sense of balance and well-being that will slowly begin to take root and grow in your daily life.
